If you are studying at the University of Murcia, the Campus de la Merced, home of the Faculties of Law and Arts, is about 100 to 200 m from our door. Madero Grill House is not a quick tapas stop: it is a grill for a proper sit-down meal, the kind you plan for a group dinner, a birthday, the end of exams or when your parents come to visit.

Beef short ribs (cross-cut)

A grill classic: striploin with its band of side fat that caramelises over the embers. The balance of tenderness and flavour.
Tomahawk
1.0–1.5 kg · highly marbled
Rib steak with a whole 40 cm rib bone and exceptional marbling. The most spectacular cut on the menu, in presentation and in flavour.
Triple-cooked chips
Cooked three times: crisp outside, fluffy inside. Smoked salt and fresh rosemary.
Madero cheesecake
The house cheesecake: creamy goat cheese, blue cheese and cream cheese, finished with a touch of dulce de leche.

The cuts arrive carved on the house board and are meant to be shared, so a table of mixed tastes can try a bit of everything. The team guides you through the menu without rushing.

The booking asks for a deposit per guest, which is deducted from your bill (all the details are in the questions below). Seats per sitting are limited, so book early for weekends.
Not everyone eats meat. For fish-eaters there is grilled Norwegian salmon, chargrilled octopus, scallops and mussels; for vegans and vegetarians, grilled seasonal vegetables, smoked aubergines and red peppers and a seasonal salad, and the menu marks the vegan dishes. The menu lists the allergens for every dish. If you have a serious allergy, tell us when you book and again when you order.
Lunch is Thursday to Sunday, 13:00 to 16:00, and dinner Tuesday to Sunday, 20:00 to 00:00. We are closed on Mondays. Madero opened in October 2026.

Madero Grill House, at Calle Enrique Villar 15, is about 120 m on foot from the Faculty of Law and about 140 m from the Faculty of Arts, both on the Campus de la Merced (walking distances measured with OpenStreetMap and rounded).

No. When you book, you leave your card as a guarantee with one tap (Apple Pay, Google Pay or card) and you are not charged anything. Only if you don't show up or cancel less than 24 hours in advance is €10 per guest charged, and we always email you first. If the booking is within 5 days, that €10 per guest is held on your card (it shows as pending but is not charged) and is released automatically if you come or cancel in time.
